Welcome to Willesborough Windmill

 

Our Summer Season runs from April to the end of September when we are open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and Bank Holiday Mondays 2.00 to 5.00  During July and August we are also open on Wednesday afternoons 2.00 to 5.00.

During the winter months (October through to the end of March) the mill is closed for tours but the Barn - which can be heated - is available for hire for meetings, receptions, parties and workshops. and Weddings can be booked throughout the whole of the year. The Barn includes use of a self-contained kitchen. 

Our new sweeps are now on the Mill although we cannot have them turning all the time. We have used them to make flour, and when our Miller is present they will turn, but it must be understood we are a very small band of helpers at the Mill and our Miller is not always available. 

We are in the process of producing an Education Pack for use on school visits, to make sure that the children get the most out of their time at the mill. We always enjoy school visits and if your school would like to visit during 2008 please get in touch and we will give you details.
